The New York City Concours Exhibition (TNYCC), is excited to announce it will kick off Madison Avenue Business Improvement District’s (B.I.D) inaugural Madison Avenue Men’s Style Month on Saturday, 17 September 2022. Sponsored by Hispano Suiza, The Concours is a judged exhibition of over 30 rarely-seen classic and exotic cars and 12 classic motorcycles – along with a special look at Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne, a 100% electric hypercar. For the first time ever, 72nd Street between Madison & 5th Avenues will close to traffic for a free public viewing of this world-class collection offering the special opportunity to engage with car collectors and fashion connoisseurs while deciding what iconic car will win the People’s Choice Award. The exhibition is open to the public from 12:00pm – 5:00pm.

TNYCC celebrates the artistry, history and innovation of the automobile and its convergence with fashion, art and music. Exuding the energy, pulse and passion that is New York City, the exhibition continues TNYCC’s mission to shake up the traditional “classic car show” and make it accessible to a more diverse tribe of car enthusiasts.

“Since our widely successful debut in 2019, we have been eager to present another amazing day of classic and exotic cars at our Pier 17 rooftop home, which the pandemic has unfortunately delayed.” states Maria Jannace, Founder of TNYCC & Fort Lauderdale Concours (FTLC). “When the B.I.D invited us to be the featured attraction of their launch event celebrating men’s style, we knew it was the perfect fit for our brand and a great bridge to connect the luxury market with a wider community who will also appreciate these iconic automobiles until we are back on the rooftop.”

Madison Avenue has become the largest men’s fashion destination in the U.S. and to celebrate the fall season, the B.I.D is hosting the inaugural Madison Avenue Men’s Style Month. Taking place from Saturday, September 17 to Sunday, October 16, 30 of Madison Ave’s premiere fashion brands and flagship boutiques will participate in various events starting with the concours exhibition.

With the B.I.D’s theme of “style and sustainability,” TNYCC found the perfect sponsor with Hispano Suiza who will be showcasing the Carmen Boulogne, a 100% electric hypercar with the latest technology derived from Formula E, 820kW of power and a timeless design inspired by the company’s rich European heritage.

About Maria Jannace, Founder/CEO TNYCC & FTLC

Maria Jannace created the first-ever rooftop concours – The New York City Concours (TNYCC) – in 2019 and expanded the rooftop concours series to Fort Lauderdale in 2021. As the founder and owner of Maxim Creative Group and Maxim Sports Management, Inc., she developed and managed the Red Bull Formula 1 Driver Search, a successful program with the mission to find, fund and nurture young American talent aspiring to compete in the pinnacle of motor racing.

Previously, Jannace was also the marketing agent for F1 and IndyCar World Champion Nigel Mansell. She also served as co-director for the Greenwich Concours d’ Elegance and before that was Chief Marketing Officer for Lime Rock Park, Connecticut’s renowned, historic racing circuit.

Jannace’s passion is to make the classic and collector car hobby more inclusive to a diverse audience.
