Stine’s Radiator

Stine’s Radiator first started in 1941 when Max Stine opened up a shop on South Potomac St. His brother Mert Stine soon started working there a few years later along with other family members and employees. In the early 1950’s the business was moved to 644 West Washington st. In 1963 Max passed away and Mert took over the business the next year. Mert’s son Jeff Stine started helping in the shop when he was old enough. Quickly learning the trade Jeff found his self in the position to take over the business from Mert, and in 1988 Jeff purchased the property where Stines Radiator is currently at on 241 N. Burhans Blvd. Jeff’s nephew Wesley started working at the shop like the family members before him and started learning the radiator trade. Tragically on June 6, 2010 Jeff Stine was killed in an automobile accident. The family wanted to keep the business going so with the help of Mert, Wesley took over the business several months latter and is the current owner of Stines Radiator.
