Gulf Coast Automotive Group in Mobile, Al
Carlock’s portfolio now at 24 franchises and one pre-owned automotive center
Nashville, Tenn. – Carlock Automotive Group announced today their purchase of Gulf Coast Automotive
Group in Mobile, Alabama, adding to the company’s portfolio of 20 franchises, six of which are in
Alabama and one pre-owned automotive center.
The automotive group purchase includes Audi Mobile, Volkswagen Mobile, Porsche Mobile and Volvo
Cars Mobile. The four franchises are housed in three state-of-the-art buildings totaling 63,000 square feet
on 9.5 acres.
In making the announcement, Carlock Automotive Group President Clay Carlock said, “We are so excited
at Carlock Automotive Group to be serving Mobile and the entire Gulf Coast market. Our family-owned
business with dealerships across Tennessee, Mississippi and now a total of six franchises in Alabama
continues to grow through successfully partnering with the communities where we are located. We
