DESCRIPTION:Our 2024-2026 Board of Directors election is underway and will be concluded at the Annual Meeting. Online voting at MotorsportReg.com (MSR) is going on now and ends Monday\, October 9th at 11:59 pm. If you miss the cutoff to vote in MSR\, you can come to the Annual General Meeting and request a paper ballot.\n \nBiographies of candidates running can be found here. There are three positions for election to the Board this year\, and you may vote for up to three candidates. Candidates are listed on the ballot in member number order\, per our bylaws.\n \nPlease note that you must be a Washington DC Region member to vote in this election. DESCRIPTION:The Washington DC Region of SCCA invites you to the October 2023 MARRS Regional Race Weekend\, October 7 & 8\, 2023\, at Summit Point Motorsports Park\, presented by: Belmont Classic Cars! \nPlease note that the Friday prior to the October MARRS is an Open Practice day offered directly by Summit Point. The registration link for the Friday\, October 6th test day is here: Summit Point open practice. \nVolunteers are encouraged to sign up and get involved\, and early registration is strongly encouraged and appreciated by all. Registering early helps us plan for catering and the Saturday night social event. Please see the link below for more information and to register. We hope to see you at the track! \nPLEASE NOTE: \nA stretch of U.S. 340 near Harpers Ferry\, where the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers merge\, is scheduled to temporarily close on September 12 for a rockslide repair project. The West Virginia Department of Highways expects the project to be completed by Dec. 11.
