We’re pumped that the NEQ club has been invited to join BMW CCA clubs at PittRace this year. Not only will we set up an NEQ Corral at this HPDE\, but lets plan to drive out there together too!\n \nPittRace (formerly BeaverRun) is a world-class racing and entertainment facility located on rolling hills with sweeping vistas in Wampum\, PA\, just 45 minutes northwest of Pittsburgh\, and only 20 minutes from the Pittsburgh Airport. The track was acquired and fully renovated with new pit/paddock/entertainment facilities and a HUGE track upgrade to double the lap length: now 19 turns\, 2.9 miles on the combination North/South full course. For more information on the track\, visit https://www.pittrace.com/ \nThe Trillium\, Genesee Valley\, and Allegheny BMW CCA chapters are hosting their HPDE event there on Monday-Wednesday\, June 6-8\, 2022.  This event is being run by those organizations and not NEQ.  \nHowever\, we are going out there to drive the track\, and we’re offering the option to caravan out to the BMW CCA event together\, leaving on the morning of Sunday\, June 5th\nRegistration for the NEQ caravan on MotorsportReg is at this link. The final location and meeting time will be determined by those interested in driving out together. Registration for the Caravan closes 5/31. here is no cost for the drive of course. Region SCCA (WDCR SCCA) invites you\, your family\, and friends to the WDCR Karting: Spring Kick-Off @ United Karting Sunday\, May 15th\, 2022. Experience the thrill of high speed karting action in a fun\, friendly\, arrive-and-drive environment. This event kicks off at 11:30 sharp\, and will run through 2PM. \n \nThis will be our first karting event of the season\, so if you’ve been looking for a reason to shake off that winter dust there is no better time!\n \nWhat you need to know:\n\nNo equipment is necessary\, but we recommend bringing your own helmet\, water\, and sunblock.\nWDCR SCCA members and their guests will receive exclusive discount pricing for this event. Just show your SCCA membership ID at the door at registration to receive the special pricing.\nNo pre-payment is required\, just show up and be ready to Kart!\n\n \nAbout United Karting:\nUnited Karting\, founded in 2018\, is growing Karting in the DMV. With a fleet of high-speed outdoor karts\, we give racers an opportunity to experience a new level of speed and thrills. DESCRIPTION:Pocono May 21 & 22nd \nLime Rock\nWithout Sound Restrictions June 10 & 11 \nTwo great events are right around the corner! \nSaturday\, May 21st at Pocono on the East course we are running an MSF Level 2 training and a solo driver boot camp.\nSunday\, May 22nd we run the Pocono Mega-Course\, created by our very own Jay Tepper years ago.  We use all 4 courses put together to make a flowing 3.51-mile road course.
