DESCRIPTION:Lime Rock Park – Sunday\, September 4\, 2022\n \nLime Rock’s final major event of the year is the Historic Festival over Labor Day weekend. On Sunday\, September 4 the Gathering of the Marques will be held as part of the weekend events. The Gathering displays an incredibly diverse collection of sports\, performance\, and classic cars. Hundreds of cars will line the track grouped by make\, model\, or country of origin.\nNEQ will join the Gathering with our Audis lining up on the Lime Rock track. Last year we had 17 Audis participate. We will set up a tent and provide coffee\, donuts\, and water.  Members should bring their own chairs.\n \nThe ticketing procedure has changed from last year. Tickets must be purchased in a single bulk order by the Club. You only need one ticket per car\, regardless of the number of passengers. Tickets for the Gathering are not available for individual purchase. Please register at the Motorsportreg.com link below. The ticket price is $30 per car.\n\nPlease let us know if you would like to attend. Tickets should be picked up at the Lime Rock Will Call booth on Sunday morning.  The gates open at 7:30am. DESCRIPTION:VIR IMSA Porscheplatz 27-28 August – Volunteers needed! \nOur friends in Zone 2 are looking for 14 volunteers to help at the Porsche parking corral and hospitality tent for the IMSA race at VIR the weekend of 27-28 August. Each volunteer will be given one ticket for entrance to the race and a volunteer t-shirt. There will be a morning and evening shift for each day. Duties will include both attending to parking the Porsches and supporting the tent by checking for membership and manning the registration table.  If interested\, please send an email to president@pcapotomac.org.
