DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our annual Fall VIR event at the legendary Virginia International Raceway sponsored by Toyo Tires and New German Performance (NGP). This event serves as a season-closer for many folks and always promises lots of fun and good weather. Running the Full Course circuit we will use our standard format of four student run groups that drive four sessions per day of about 25 minutes each. Take some time off of work\, give yourself a nice getaway and come drive with us! Get your fix in before the winter. \nThis event is an instructed event and only in-car instruction is available (with proper safety precautions). Please ensure you are comfortable with this before signing up as an instructor or an instructed student. \n\n\n\nEvent requirements\n\n\n\nBEFORE registering\, please review PCC’s DRIVER SCHOOL EVENT RULES.\nThere is information there for students\, instructors\, instructors who are interested in instructing with us for the first time\, and refunds/cancelations. \nActive Audi Club North America (ACNA) membership is required to participate in this event. If you are not a member\, or your membership expires prior to the start of the event\, you will not be able to register. Please visit audiclubna.org/join to join or renew. If you are a new member\, you will receive an email with credentials to login to your account and retrieve your member number (you can also use the Audi Club app). We will look after you for a few days of great driving\, sharing good company\, and unlock some of the secrets of this very special place we call ‘home’ \nOur mission here is to bring you on a driving adventure like no other around the country. For this adventure we will be exploring the best back roads and some of the most gorgeous scenery our great country has to offer. \nAll of our events start and end at the Fontana Village Resort\, which is less than 10 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. Here\, we will have a group driver’s meeting\, providing a full walk-through of the drives to help orientate you on the journey. You will be given a comprehensive event guide describing in detail each of the drives and stops. Each event will be different\, but we will always have some special activities planned. We will stage the cars for the drives and there will be a tour guide / lead car to create a fully guided group experience. There will be little to no cell phone signal in these mountains\, so the group will communicate with FRS walkie-talkie radios. On the Rennsport Dragon Rally\, bring your car ready to drive\, as you will spend many hours on multiple days\, driving through the country roads of the Great Smoky Mountains! This event is all about the driving experience and the interaction between many fellow Porsche enthusiasts! \nWho attends these events?
