DESCRIPTION:This annual event brings together participants from many different programs into a single location where we can all experience a taste of different programs and have an opportunity to socialize with the broader PCA Potomac community at the dinner that caps the day.  \n  \nAs always\, the event is hosted in the main paddock at Summit Point Motorsports Park where there is a Driver’s Education event being held.  This is a great opportunity to walk through the paddock and see everything from regular street cars to PCA race cars and even a few Porsche factory race cars\, then wander out to the track and watch the cars in their native habitat! \n  \nJust a few hundred feet from the paddock the Autocross program will be running an event as well- -a really excellent environment to see drivers testing themselves and their cars around a low speed course defined by traffic cones.  Also this year for the low price of $1 you can get a “Taste of Autocross” by riding along with an experienced instructor! \n  \nBut wait\, there is more!  Drive and Dine will have an event that ends at the track\, we will have a car display and will need your help choosing the people’s choice award from the Concours crew\, and we will have a diecast car vendor\, and special items for Porsche Juniors  \nWrapping up the day will be Charity Laps on the main circuit (open to everyone and all types of cars – donation required)\, and finally our big social hour and dinner under the big tent.  \n  \nGo to the event pages on the website for details about individual program events and go to http://msreg.com/2022-pfest-dinner-tshirt to register for the dinner (happy hour included!) and get your own commemorative t-shirt. \n  \nIMPORTANT NOTE:  The deadline for ordering your event t-shirt is July 12th\, so get your order in now!

Region SCCA (WDCR SCCA) invites you\, your family\, and friends to the WDCR Karting: Event #3 @ United Karting Sunday\, September 18th\, 2022\n \nExperience the thrill of high speed karting action in a fun\, friendly\, arrive-and-drive environment. \n \nThis event kicks off at 11:30 sharp\, and will run through 2PM. \n \nThis is our second karting event of the season\, so come out and join us for some summer fun!\n \n \nWhat you need to know:\n \n1. No equipment is necessary\, but we recommend bringing your own helmet\, water\, and sunblock.\n \n2. WDCR SCCA members and their guests will receive exclusive discount pricing for this event. Just show your SCCA membership ID at the door at registration to receive the special pricing.\n \n3. No pre-payment is required\, just show up and be ready to Kart!\n \nAbout United Karting:\n \nUnited Karting\, founded in 2018\, is growing Karting in the DMV. DESCRIPTION:Drivers’ Education Request for Help – Instructors and drivers needed for upcoming events! \n  \nHello Driving Enthusiasts!   Potomac is in the middle of a fantastic DE year and still have many events to come.  Our events are some of the best in the country and really are worth checking out.  If you have been to some\, you already know that.  If you have not\, please come and check one out.   We could use some more Instructor help at events this year.  We have some wait lists mostly in our Green (novice) run group and can usually get them into the event\, as long as we get enough instructors to cover the student load.  The Summer and Fall Summit Point Main Circuit events could use some help. (July 29-31 and Oct 21-23).  Also\, please check into Potomac’s High Performance Drivers Clinics (HPDC’s) on Oct 1 and the Women’s HPDC on Oct 2\, 2022. \n  \nRegistration is open in MSR for all DE events.
